According to TMZ, 50 Cent is looking to rent out his massive Connecticut estate. 50 Cent – real name: Curtis James Jackson III filed for bankruptcy, 50’s been trying to dig out from under his debts, and during a meeting with his creditors on Wednesday, his lawyers revealed the rapper is now trying to sublet the mansion which features 21 bedrooms, 9 kitchens, and even a casino!
No word on how much 50’s asking, but bankruptcy documents show most of his spending is focused on his 18-bedroom mansion with 37 bathrooms and five whirlpool baths outside of Hartford, Conn. where he pays $72,000 a month.
The entertainer has followed in the footsteps of Mike Tyson and two other former owners of the huge property, one of the biggest private residences in America, that none of them could afford to keep. The rapper says in a Connecticut bankruptcy court filing Monday, August 3, he spends about $108,000 a month on his expenses, including $5,000 for gardening. According to Billboard, he also has to pay his stylist, his barber and his fitness coach out of his own pocket.
