New Telegraph reports that the Local Government Council Sole Administrators in Kebbi State have been charged to support and take part in the implementation of the Immunization Plus Days (IPDs) as well as the other health interventions initiated to help the people to overcome the problems such as non-compliance and other challenges that may hinder the campaign against killer diseases across the state.
Briefing newsmen yesterday in his office, the Acting Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Alhaji Alhassan Garba Dugu, said that the appeal had become necessary due to the series of complaints by some donor agencies and other health institutions, New Telegraph reports.
This was as he pointed out that the Sole Administrators needed to work hard and ensure the eradication of polio in the state.
“You, the Council chairs should support the present administration in all ramifications by promoting the health sector and other infrastructure in order to meet his campaigned promises and deliver the dividends of democracy to the people of the state,” he added.
