Speaking to our reporter about the incidence on telephone, the Information officer, Katagum local government area, Aminu Azare informed that the fire reportedly started from one of the shops in the market allegedly from an electrical surge.

“The fire later spread to other shops, Fire service including those of Azare, Misau and other neighbouring places came but the fire cannot be controlled.”
