As part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), one of the foremost real estate company in the country, Realty Point Limited on Thursday, 31 st March, 2016, paid a visit to Heritage Homes Orphanage at Anthony Village, Lagos state. The top-notch real estate company which has its office in Maryland had a cross section of members of staff in attendance.
The orphanage which has a mission and mandate to create a better life for the abandoned and under-privileged children in the society, and to ensure they fit into every sphere of the society was founded 10 years ago by Pastor Ituah Ighodalo.
Speaking to an NREH correspondent in the presence of the management of the orphanage, The Manager Finance and Operations Realty Point Limited, Mr Debo Adegenro commended the efforts of the administration of the orphanage in filling a huge void in the society. Mr Adegbenro said the idea was indeed a good initiative. In his words;
“Having been performing their duties unabated for a decade, Heritage Homes have actually come a long way. Some children who would have ended dead or homeless have been given a glimmer of hope” Mr Adegbenro noted.
“Amid the economic hardship it gladdens my heart to see these set of people in Heritage Homes taking care of the needs of other Nigerians that were abandoned to their own fate even before they could know what fate awaited them. This is why we decided to pay them a visit to commend their efforts and also assist them in our own little way because very few of us can actually take up this huge but impactful social responsibility” Adegbenro voiced.
