Vox Pop: Building a House as a Single or Married, which is easier?

A recent vox pop conducted by NREH as revealed that building a house as a married person is easier than building a house as a single person.

The vox pop which was conducted on our social media platforms showed that most of the respondents were of the opinion that building a house as a married person is easier.

Building a house is a good investment, and as a married person or single person, one of the important things you might want to decide is when you want to build your house.

On Twitter, Yelosisi @Karolcul said: “It depends. As a single if you have available resources to; if not, then that will be both efforts of husband & wife.”

Glowville, on Facebook also stated: “Two heads are better than one. It might look more convenient to save up for a house as a single, but it is more pleasing to achieve your housing goals with the one person you love. We root for building as a couple.”

Likewise, on Facebook, Debo Adejana noted that: “most housing decisions are taken by wives, according to a recent survey. This tells us that marriage has a way of impacting upon home ownership.”

However, Ademoye Adewale, on Instagram opined that, “Single is easier.”
