I am sure most people who came across the Sack Your Landlord contest would have called it a fluke and moved on with their daily internet surfing without giving it a second thought, but hey, ‘action will always prove the doubt that theory cannot solve’.
It was all smiles yesterday for the 3 contestants who emerged winners of the contest. They took the first step by believing the contest was real, sent in their articles and finally got rewarded after few days of gathering votes and also filled with anticipation as their eyes were on the prize.
At a brief official presentation of the prizes, few management staffs of Realty Point Limited and the Media team were in attendance: Mr. Debo Adegbenro – Manager and Finance Operations (MFO), Mr. Akin Arogundade – Business development manager, Mr. Azeta Abahi – Marketing Executive & Head Shelter Depot, Mr. Solomon represented the Head of Accounts, Sayo Olatona, Mrs. Grace Olu-Majek – Customer service executive, Mr. Bolaji Adejana – Internal control personnel, Olumide Odeyemi Lawrence – Media Executive, Lekan Olofinjin – Content developer, Elsie Godwin – Public correspondent amongst others.
Mr. Bolaji Adejana reflected on the company’s journey so far and its achievement. At Realty point, they help you with packages that would ensure you own your own home at ease. In his words, he said, “Realty point is here to make sure that you don’t stay too long as a tenant. Right from the moment you are employed or doing a business that fetches you an income, no matter how small, one should start thinking of owning his or her own home”
Mr. Debo Adegbenro also introduced the companies birthed from Realty Point Limited, Prime Exchange and Prime Assets to the guest. He appreciated the contestants for being part of the contest. Prime exchange is a platform where people can work as independent marketers. They can sell products and services and get commissions. Prime exchange uses the network marketing model. That is you come on board, pay your sign up fees and make 10% commission on most transactions you initiate. This platform also enables you to introduce other independent marketers and earn commissions from your network.
While Prime Assets is a cooperative society where people with common interest pull resources together to make their projects and funds assessment easy.
The winners were filled with joy as they showered Realty Point with praises.
MBAKPUO STANLEY, who came first in the contest said, “The experience was wonderful, it was easy to write because we have been tenants before.” He revealed his essay was purely fiction. He commended Realty point limited for doing such contest which rewards the passion and gifts of people. He asked RPL not to relent in helping people sack their Landlord.
Olarinde Samuel: “The contest is very commendable. I like writing but I was almost discouraged because of voting but I finally decided to give it a try.” He commended Realty Point Limited for coming up with different strategies to keep people informed as regards real estate.
Victoria Akinyemi: “When I saw the advert of Sack your Landlord contest, I beckoned my husband and we decided to give it a try. It’s a true story of what we are presently going through and I am glad we participated.”
Mr. Akinyemi who accompanied his wife commended realty point Limited for the contest and also advised Realty point Limited to spread their packages to people who need them. He said he is sure that many people would jump on such offers if they get to hear about it.
