NBCC Signs Contract For The Construction Of Lekki’s N450m Plaza

NBCC Signs Contract For The Construction Of Lekki’s N450m Plaza

Contract For The Construction (NBCC) has officially signed a contract for the construction of its N450m plaza.
The Plaza, a four-storey edifice, located at the Chamber’s secretariat, Lekki Phase1, is to be completed in 50 weeks.

It was designed to accommodate an events centre, shopping centre, two training suites, meeting rooms, office and will host foreign trade delegations from the UK and other countries. It will also serve as offices and conference centre for the Chamber.

Speaking at the signing ceremony in Lagos, President NBCC, Prince Dapo Adelegan reaffirmed the commitment of NBCC in fostering trade relations between Nigeria and Britain despite the economic situation in the country.
He said the just concluded trade mission to United Kingdom was in line with the vision of the Chamber to enhance trade relations and ensure economic growth and development.

He expressed optimism that the Plaza when completed will ease the daily operations of the Chamber and further strengthen its networking capacity within and outside the country.

Adelegan said: “NBCC is committed to providing platforms to simplify business dealings between Nigeria and United Kingdom and we are convinced the plaza will enhance trade relations when completed.”

The NBCC boss charged the contractor to adhere to the rules of engagement and work diligently with the right specification. He described the Plaza as the first major project of the Chamber, adding that, expectation was high to deliver it in due time. He also emphasized the use of quality materials for the construction.

Managing Partner Costec Consultants, Mr. Agele Alufohai, who spoke on behalf of the contractors promised to deliver quality job that will conform to global best practices safety, comfort and durability. He thanked the Chamber for the trust bestowed on them which he said his company held in high regard.
