Two lives were lost on Tuesday night in Sango-Ota area of Ogun State, in an auto-crash that occurred at the old Abeokuta/Lagos toll gate.
The incident was confirmed to the Nigerian Tribune by the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Unit Commander, Mr. Leye Adegboyega, that the accident involved a Mack Truck with registration number MUS 338 XS and a Toyota Corrolla marked BC 947 FKJ at about 11. 35 pm.
He explained that the truck heading to Sango-Ota from Lagos lost control due to brake failure and rammed into the car at the NNPC Filling Station.
Adegboyega added that six persons, comprising four males and two females were involved in the accident, and that the two females died in the accident.
He, however, advised those hacking goods on the roads to desist from such act in the interest of safety.
