A real estate marketing firm, Revolution Plus Property Development Company Limited, has revealed its intention to partner the Federal Government in its quest to bridge the 18 million housing deficit by year 2030.

To achieve the goal, the firm has decided to offer 20 per cent discount on all its housing estates across the country during the just concluded a week-long Lagos International Trade Fair.

Although, the number of the successful beneficiaries are not yet known, the aim, according to the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the firm, Mr Bamidele Onalaja, is to do everything possible to support the Federal Government in its pursuit of providing quality and affordable housing for all Nigerians by year 2030.

According to Onalaja, there are over 15 different housing estates which are spread across the country, meant to cater for the masses, but are yet to be acquired.

He stated that his background in mortgage banking opened his eyes to the way government’s effort was being under-utilised which fueled his vision to do something about the situation.

Executive Director of Revolution Plus, Mrs Tolulope Onalaja said the problems associated with the National Housing Fund which limit people from tapping into it is part of the malaise facing the housing sector that they have come to change.

LCCI president, Mrs Nike Akande said Revolution Plus’ entrance into property marketing is a welcome development to the nation.
