Group Urges Buhari To probe sales Of Federal Govt. Houses By Previous Administrations

The Movement for the Restoration and Defence of Democracy (MRDD), has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to commence the process of probe and recovery of federal government houses that were sold with impunity to some members of former Presidents Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan administrations.

Similarly, the Movement has also urged the Federal Government to investigate the allegations of lopsided allocation of lands in the FCT to the former First Lady, Mrs. Patience Jonathan and other senior members of the immediate past administration.

The Movement made the call through a statement signed by its National Chairman, Danjuma Muhammed in Abuja on Wednesday.

According to Muhammed, “As part of our party’s effort and commitment to support the on-going war against corruption in the country, we call on the Federal Government under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari, to commence the process of probe and recovery of federal government houses that were sold with impunity to some members of Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan administrations.
