Mr. Dehinde Tunwase has been appointed by the Lagos State Government as the new General Manager for the Lagos state Mortgage board.
A statement on Monday by the Public Affairs Officer of the agency, Kayode Abayomi, said the appointment was with immediate effect.
The statement added that the move was to show that the state government was not relenting in its bid to provide residents of the state with affordable housing.
It said, “In a bid to ensure continuity with improvement, the Lagos State Government has approved the appointment of Mr. Dehinde Tunwase as the new General Manager for the Lagos State Mortgage Board, custodian of the Lagos Home Ownership Mortgage Scheme.
“It should be noted that the state government is not relenting in its promise of giving Lagosians affordable housing, which is one of the critical agenda of the Governor Akinwumi Ambode-led administration, wherein he promised to improve on the current policy of home ownership through the Lagos HOMS and provide more home ownership options.”
