OJB Jezreel’s property causes rift between wife and OJB’s family

The fight over the estate of late Nigerian music producer and singer, Babatunde Okungbowa otherwise known as OJB Jezreel seems to be getting messier.

LIB reported that the late singer’s brother, Albert Okungbowa, has sued OJB’s first wife over the 5-bedroom property. The crisis which occurred last month revealed details of how the property located on Gbaja street, Surulere, Lagos is causing a major family feud just 2-years after the singer’s death.

The music maestro gave up the ghost in the month of June 2016 (a month to his 50th birthday) after suffering a relapse of a kidney transplant he had in the year 2013.

According to reports, the property in question which is now causing a rift between OJB’s wife and her in-laws was almost sold for N50m by the late producer a day before he died.

OJB’s wife, Mabel Okungbowa, has been summoned to court over the case (MCY/463/2018) filed at the Magistrate Court, Yaba.

Mabel Okungbowa is to appear in court on Tuesday 27th February 2018 at 9am.
