12 Housing & Infrastructural Projects To Watch Out For In Fashola’s 2016 Budget

The federal government of Nigeria has released details of the 2016 budget to the public domain. Nigeria’s Ministry of Power, Works and Housing was allocated the sum of N456,936,811,203 for the fiscal year 2016. The ministry is under the control of Babatunde Raji Fashola.

Here are some of the projects we look forwards to, as listed in the budget:

1. Rehabilitation of Lagos- Ibadan road section I – N40bn

2. Construction of 1,973 blocks of 7,068 housing units in the 6 Geo-political zones and the FCT – N35bn

3. Concession of 2nd Niger bridge in Anambra and Delta states including payment of compensation and consultancy n13,136,816,518

4. Kano-Maiduguri road (section I – V) N13,109,415,878

5. Construction of Oju/Loko Oweto bridge to link Loko and Oweto with approach roads. c/no. 6108 N10,000,000,000
