In Nigeria’s real estate sector today, particularly Lagos, there are a number of top Nigerian kings and monarchs who have overtime, become quite influential when discussions regarding the sector are being made.
These are first-class Obas in their own right who have relative measures of strong-hold on their respective empires (communities) and bring about peace & orderliness among their people.
To a large extent, it is only these kings who have an almost ultimate level of control on ‘omo oniles’ and the range of developments that go on in their communities.
However, the focus for now will be restricted to Ibeju Lekki, Lagos and it’s immediate environs, because it is currently the major hub of real estate developments in the country.
Ibeju Lekki, a community in Lagos State, has indeed become one of the choicest landscapes not just in Lagos State, but also in Nigeria as a whole.
Ibeju Lekki, formerly a rustic community made popular because of its waterfront access, has become an emerging economic property which, if properly harnessed, could become a goldmine for potential investors.
Prior to its creation, Ibeju –Lekki was treated as a backwater suburb to Epe Central and North, with its local government created from two autonomous communities, Ibeju and Lekki.
With the Dangote Refinery, Lekki Free Trade Zone, Lagos Ports Authority, upscale housing estates, among other multinational companies springing up daily in the area, it has grown to be one of the most prized locations in Lagos State.
The zone has been described as a global business haven by the Lagos state government, and a peep into the on-going activities at the site shows nothing less.
If as an investor, you’re looking to invest in a location that would give you triple the value of your initial investment, then we suggest you look keenly at Ibeju Lekki.
In a couple of years, you would be delighted you made a move today. Some top Real Estate development companies such as Realty Point Limited are currently selling at very pocket friendly prices when compared to the current market rate.
This week, Nigeria Real Estate Hub will be bringing you close to 5 Nigerian Kings who have become quite influential to real estate proceedings in and around this axis.
