Nonetheless, some statements intended to be jokes turn out to be foolish enough not to be recognised as jokes, meaning it turns out to be so foolish that the humour intended is missed, only then do we realise that “fools die.” Now that was a joke.

Having made my point exactly or so it seems, truth be told; nobody read ads, people only read what interests them and sometimes its an ad. So it becomes quite understandable when we see some funny, maybe ridiculous real estate adverts. Guess what; they’ve achieved what the ad was intended for. You may want to ask how? They’ve drawn our attention. We eventually read the ads no matter how stupid we think it sounds as long as we see the humour in it; the the message has been relayed.
