#FLC2018: Experts harp on need for youths to embrace discipline

#FLC2018 – The easiest way to building a successful nation is by empowering the youth and channeling their minds towards greatness.

Nigeria real estate hub last weekend graced the event/book launch held at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs organised by Mark Idiahi.

The event, Future leadership conference 5.0 had great speakers and experts in various fields like Ubong king a.k.a the Troublemaker, Debo Adejana, Grace Ofure, Daysman Oyakhilome, Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa, Dr. Abiola Afolabi, Adegbenga Badejo, and Chidi Okpaluba in attendance.

The convener, Mr. Mark Idiahi gave his opening speech as he demystified the theme: Transitional Leadership and Patriotism.
He said Future leadership conference is an event that was borne out of his passion for youths and his goal is to sharpen their minds and prepare them for the future ahead of them.

The speakers charged the attendees to be independent and quit waiting on the government to help provide their basic needs.

One of the speakers, Mr. Chidi Okpaluba said: “The only thing that can happen to a man is to be used up when he dies”.
He shared his road to success story how he almost gave up on his first job but with hard work, determination and unrelenting efforts, he was able to achieve his goal by becoming the CEO of the company he worked with. He charged the attendees to never give up on their dreams.

Another speaker, Daysman Oyakhilome said “Young people of today are not disciplined for tomorrow but they want tomorrow”
The young man who is a staunch believer of investing in historic events like the Future leadership conference book charged youths to use every opportunity they have to invest in their future.

Mr. Debo Adejana congratulated the convener for this great initiative and his effort in pulling off the event.

Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa encouraged the attendees to be focused and never lose their integrity. “Those two qualities can make anybody become whatever he wants as long as he sets his mind on it”, he said.

All hands were on deck when the Keynote speaker, Mr. Ubong king brought trouble to the unveiling of the book titled: The Navigator.
He was like a catalyst at the unveiling of the book as he urged both the speakers and attendees to support the convener’s dream. The book was sold out within 30 minutes.
