April edition of the monthly real estate seminar launched DAMP

The event took place on Saturday 19th April, 2014. This month, the focus of the seminar shifted from its usual real estate centred issue to launch the much awaited Debo Adejana Mentorship Program (DAMP).

Debo Adejana the host, explained the need for the introduction of the mentor program, adding that it was a vacuum in our business environment that needed to be  filled no matter how little. He observed that a lot of people get into business without any idea as to basic business principles, not to mention applying them.

He added how with the benefit of the mentor’s hindsight, a ‘mentee’ can gain invaluable foresight and leverage on the experience of the mentor. Costly mistakes and bad business decisions are thwarted when you have a mentor holding the rope for you.

Noting that “we are all by our very nature creatures of relationship; we were made for relationship”, Debo added “that’s how we came and that’s how we gain. “

Going into the question as to how he decided to make himself available for this sort of special relationship he says “Mentorship is something I have benefited from myself and still do benefit from and I consider it a must have relationship for business success. I have operated a form of it before but here now is a repackaged format for the benefit of anyone that may be interested.”

The mentor program is open to participants in two categories: Free and Paid. However, it is the mentee who determines whether he/she  will have good results from the whole experience.
