According to a prominent real estate firm, Atlanta experiences a sizable boon in tenant demand for commercial real estate, which corresponded with the ascension of renting throughout the country.
DTZ said the demand for real estate space rebounding in more than 70 percent of the country during the second quarter of 2015.
The city of Atlanta was named in the top 10 strongest markets in terms of demand for space, the firm says.

- Oakland, Calif., 1.4 million square feet
- Los Angeles, 1.2 million square feet
- Atlanta, 993,000 square feet
- Phoenix, 850,000 square feet
- Raleigh-Durham, N.C., 828,000 square feet
- Philadelphia, 723,000 square feet
- New York, 709,000 square feet
- Chicago, 525,000 square feet
