Charles Oghenero Ebiai Emerges as NIESV Abuja Branch Chairman

ESV Charles Oghenero Ebiai FNIVS, RSV, KSM, emerged as the 10^th Chairman of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers, Abuja (Unity) Branch for 2018-2020 Council years at the Branch’s Annual General meeting and Elections held on the 7^th of August 2018 at Chelsea Hotel, Central Business District, Abuja.

ESV Charles Oghenero Ebiai FNIVS is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers. He has experience both in the private and public sectors having garnered experience in the Bauchi State Ministry of Lands and Survey, firms of Williams and Partners, Lagos and also Bello & Co. Abuja.

He later joined one of the first Primary Mortgage Institutions in Nigeria; Imani Mortgage Finance (later Imani Savings & Loans) Abuja where he rose through the ranks from the position of Estate Officer to Manager Estates/ Mortgage before leaving to set up the professional firm of CHARLES EBIAI ASSOCIATES, a firm of Estate Surveyors & Valuers where he functions as the Principal Consultant/Partner till date.  His extensive working experience spans through the various sectors of our economy, including transportation, oil and gas, power, Aviation, hotels, recreation and tourism, health and banking etc. He was the first President of IRWA (International Right of Way Association) Chapter 84, Nigeria where he ensured that other professional colleagues got registered and then exposed to further trainings on Right of Way issues.

Charles Ebiai brings with him the experience which he has garnered as an executive member over the years at the branch and also at the national levels. He had served as the Honorary Assistant National Publicity Secretary and later as the Honorary National Publicity Secretary. He said during his acceptance speech that the current membership of the branch shall be further strengthened and increased; Probationers and Associates shall be encouraged to move to the next level. He also said in number lies our strength and with such numbers we can achieve more and also live the true name of our Branch UNITY….United we shall stand.

ESV Charles Oghenero Ebiai FNIVS, RSV, KSM is a devout Catholic and belongs to the Catholic Order of the Knights of St. Mulumba. He is married to Lady Salamatu Thecla Mary Ebiai and they are blessed with 5 children.
