Haven Homes unveil new designs for 2015

One of Nigeria’s top real estate companies delivering affordable luxury homes, Haven Homes has completed and delivered a brand new set of home designs to its subscibers at Richmond Gate Estate situated in Lekki.

Speaking on the concept behind the 2015 home designs, the company’s spokesperson Mr. Sonuga explained that the new designs were conceptualized with more sensuality and adaptation to the natural environment of the estate. “We have improved on our style and you can now see that the new home designs externally are curvier and wavier, which are adaptations of the homes to the movement of the sea”, he said.

“The choice of colours for the homes is now more subtle and tranquil. This is to adapt to the natural environment around the estate which is dominantly beach-white. Internally, we have chosen the spectacular elliptical staircase design that depicts elegance and also displays grandeur. We have also celebrated walls with niches which can be highlighted with various colours to display flowers or works of art. Our lightings have also improved significantly and we have introduced a new lighting concept known as star-lights”, Sonuga added.

Explaining that Haven Homes is already a trailblazer when it comes to distinct home designs in Nigeria, Sonuga says although the 2015 home designs may soon be copied by other developers as was the case with other designs before it, however there are a lot of hidden messages within the design concept that may not be easily grasped.

“It will not be easy to copy these new designs. Although there will soon be attempts to do that but I can assure you that the originality behind the concept will still remain with Haven Homes”. ‘’Our architects, Play In Architecture (Winner of Designer of the year 2014 Award) are also currently working on our 2017 designs as we speak” Sonuga added.

On Richmond Gate Estate, Sonuga says the estate is already becoming a much desired residential address amongst classy Nigerians. The estate, which recently won the ‘Affordable development of the year’ at the 3invest 2014 Real Estate Awards, is now home to several expatriate workers with Chevron, Julius Berger and staff of other multinational companies. “Apart from 2face Idibia and AY the comedian who already live in the estate with their families, other well known entertainment acts have also moved into the estate.

Beyond the success recorded in terms of attracting prime clients, Sonuga added that the estate has also turned out to be a wonderful source of investment for subscribers. “People who have bought houses from us have had significant and almost an unbelievable capital gains on their investments. It’s interesting to note that the initial units that were sold in 2012 for N50million had risen to N75million by 2014 and currently sell for N85million”, he enumerated.
Highlighting the improvements that have been achieved in terms of additional infrastructure within the estate, Sonuga explained that there is now a standard recreation centre within the estate which has a standard swimming pool, gymnasium, basketball court and lawn tennis court, mini-mart and standard family relaxation centre.

Housing units in Richmond Gate Estate are available in 4bedrooms on over 3 floors with double volume master bedroom, fully fitted kitchen and lavishly designed bathrooms and toilets. Added to that is an indoor fountain and multimedia wiring that allows audio and video signals across the entire home.
