Inauguration of NSCDC housing estate to boost officers’ morale.

At the inauguration of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence corps (NSCDC) Housing Estate, phase 3, Dawaki, Abuja, Tuesday, the Minister of interior, Mr. Abba Moro commended the management on the NSCDC housing scheme for the foresight and expressed optimism that the gesture would go a long way in boosting the morale of the officers.

He challenged other security services to emulate the NSCDC as this would go a long way in addressing the housing deficit in the country in line with the transformation agenda

The Minister of Interior, said the Federal Government had resolved to recover all the territories lost to Boko Haram before May 29.

”With the commitment of Nigerian military, it is our hope as a government that by May 29, 2015, Boko Haram and its activities will become history,’’ he said. He urged the NSCDC to continue to contribute their quota to the fight against insurgency in the North- East, especially as regards intelligence gathering and rehabilitation of the rescued victims. .
