The real estate sector is beginning to count its loses following the state of the nation. Reported on Leadership this morning, Angry youths from Anguwan Rogo and Zinaria community in Jos North local government area of Plateau State yesterday went after a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) member and the PDP governorship campaign coordinator for Jos North, Muhammed Adam, after he tagged a religious scholar and youths who had stoned him the previous day as Boko Haram members during a live chat with journalists.
The irate youths attacked a private radio station, Unity FM, and journalists from both electronic and print media.
Adam had made the inciting remark before he rushed out of the station accompanied by security operatives.
However, irate youths had gathered before journalists could leave the building and they threw stones at journalists, demanding that they hand over Adam to them and threatening to burn the building.
The mob damaged five cars and injured a youth leader from Zinaria community in right eye after he tried to appease them.
The youths also burnt the politician’s family home and his brother’s house in Anguwan Rogo after his family had been evacuated.
An eyewitness said that one person was killed when the Special Task Force stormed the area to disperse the youths.
