Linda Ikeji’s Alleged Feud With FIRS over Tax Evasion

Popular celebrity blogger, Linda Ikeji, has allegedly been accused by the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) of tax evasion. The blogger who only recently acquired a massive luxury property in the highly desirable Banana Island has however come out to deny the reports.

According to reports, Linda Ikeji is owing the government about N75 million. This is coming months after she announced to her fans that she has acquired a choice property worth over half a billion naira in high-brow Banana Island, Ikoyi, Lagos.

Linda was said to have also denied ownership of her Banana Island home when questioned by the officials.  FIRS officials have reportedly taken steps that will lead to her prosecution in a court of law.

In related news, Linda has however denied not only the tax evasion story but also the entire reports. According to a news item on pulse.ng the blogger exclusively told Pulse that the rumours are false as she works as an individual and not a company.

According to her, “Firs go after companies not individuals. And I was operating as an individual,” she said.

Linda Ikeji who was alleged to have said she is not the owner of the Banana Island Mansion had earlier this year claimed to be hers had this to say about that. She told Pulse, “And the Banana house is mine 1000%..lol. Proudly mine and I would never deny it.”
