Niger State government calls on FG to repair Federal roads

Reports show that Niger State government has called on the Federal Government to repair damaged federal roads in the state.

Vanguard reports that Niger State government has raised an alarm over the poor state of federal roads in the state. It called for their immediate repairs to save the lives of commuters, who die daily on the roads.

The roads include Agaie-Katcha-Baro, Tegina-Mokwa-Jebba-New, Bussa-Agwara-Yauri-Rijau-Kontagora, Lambata-Lapai-Agaie-Bida-Lemu-Wushishi-Zungeru-Tegina-Pandogari and Agaie-Katcha- Baro-Gulu-Muye, Vanguard reports.

Vanguard reports that the Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Mr. Jonathan Tsado Vatsa, lamented that the 30-kilometre Agaie-Katcha-Baro-Gulu-Muye Road, which was awarded in January 2015 and expected to have been completed since January this year, had been abandoned.
