Popular Mararaba Market In Nasarawa Gutted by Fire

Popular Mararaba market in Nasarawa State was gutted by fire this night. Many of the shops with goods worth millions of Naira have been destroyed.

Eye witnesses confirmed that Mararaba  main market located within Karu local government area of Nasarawa state is on fire.

DailyTrust reports that according to one of the eye witnesses, Mr. Boniface Ogar, the fire started around 8pm when most shop owners have closed for the day’s business.

Mararaba is a border town neighbouring Nyanya, Abuja’s suburb town.

Fire ambulances were seen by our reporters enroute the market area as at press time.
