Real Estate Company Bags Excellence Award

Sparklight Property Development Company Limited has been named the real estate company for 2015 by the African Leadership Magazine.

The Group Head, Research and Development, African Leadership Group, publishers of African Leadership Magazine, Mr. Chrys Anyanwu, said at the award presentation ceremony that his organisation consistently rewards excellence and leadership in the continent and that Sparklight had distinguished itself in the provision of affordable housing.

“The problem of Nigeria is not just housing but affordable housing and this organisation has been committed to this initiative that the Nigerian masses need.

“People do not lobby for awards from us, so if you receive it, it is based on merit from your work. There is a need to change the African narrative, hence the need to reward excellence and leadership in the continent,” he said.

The Chairman, Sparklight Property Development Company Limited, Chief Toyin Adeyinka, said the award would be a catalyst to drive the company to greater heights in its quest to provide affordable housing for Nigerians.

“This is an area we have carved a niche for ourself and our latest programme on affordable housing is focusing on rural areas. Everything is about creativity; we have been challenged and this will spur us to greater heights,” he said.
