Real Estate Developer’s Association of Nigeria (REDAN), an agency tasked principally with the responsibility of facilitating the delivery of affordable mass housing in the country. The association has a membership strength of over 1, 500 members and is the brain behind any housing development or initiative that is organized and/or sponsored by the Federal, State & Local Governments, NGOs, private organizations, as well as foreign partners and investors.
The south west zone of the association had their general meeting/election yesterday and new Excos were elected. The immediate Past Chairman REDAN South West Zone, now the National General Secretary REDAN, Barrister Akintoye Adeoye, said in an opening speech that there is a need to change the outlook and perception of the association and also move it to an association where benefits will be measurable. Stressing the need to move from having developers that are only struggling to a height where we have developers that can stand and are ready to lead others to stand.
Vice President, Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria, South west Zone, and also the New Chairman of REDAN South west Zone, Barrister Taiwo Ogunbodede, stated that REDAN is looking forward to a Robust membership drive, bringing in many credible members as possible, drive membership education and advancement and also engage the next administration.
The zone is made of Lagos, Osun, Ondo, Oyo, Ekiti and Ogun states.
