Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN), FCT Chapter, has attributed its weak interface with relevant statutory agencies of government as the bane of housing development in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The association also identified the lack of finance, access to land, delay in approval processing, overlapping layouts, conflicting land use, lack of infrastructural provision by government, failure in executing counterpart agreement, delay in title regulation as the major problems hindering quick execution of housing projects.
REDAN disclosed these during its courtesy call on the Coordinator, Abuja Metropolitan Management Council (AMMC) in her office.
