School of Estate, Nigeria’s leading real estate focused training institution launched its online platform yesterday 14th May 2019. The platform is poised to offer a unique user-centric approach that will guide real estate enthusiasts and practitioners at every level of experience through its continuously expanding real estate curriculums.
The launch was well attended by top professionals and real estate industry experts like Mr. Akin Olawore, Mr. Debo Adejana, Engr. Steven Ajayi-James and Mr. Akin Opatola to mention a few. In addition, some of the School’s alumni, alongside other real estate practitioners and enthusiasts were also in attendance.
The event started with a press conference where several topical issues relating to the real estate sector were discussed. Critical amongst some of the topics discussed mainly focused on the urgent requirement to take advantage of opportunities in the value chain and create a platform that motivates people to seek knowledge. Discussants also highlighted the challenges associated with training and capacity development in the sector, and the need to prioritize learning and development utilizing technology as a tool to achieve results and minimize loss recorded in real estate transactions.
The actual launch of the E-learning platform commenced immediately afterward where one of the experts mentioned that “When people acquire more knowledge they become efficient. Real Estate is a big sector and you cannot stand alone”. The pioneering initiative of the School of Estate to bridge the knowledge gaps within the Real Estate sector was well commended and appreciated by all participants and stakeholders in attendance. The platform is positioned to provide learning solutions that would increase access to quality content and promote convenience in the most affordable and cost-effective manner.
Participants in attendance were also thrilled at the fact that School of Estate offered free coupons to access any course of their choice on the platform. More so, it was also announced that courses on the platform can be accessed at 50% discount during the launch promotional period, which was also seen as a very attractive offer to encourage potential users take the courses online.
Lastly, the website designer and E-learning expert, Mr. Sydney Ugbeda explained the technical aspects of the portal which included user registration, selection of courses, operating model, payment methods, security and ease of navigation of the portal without hassle.
The event was a huge success and participants were elated at the solutions it aims to provide in the Real Estate industry.
