In its bid to recognise and reward excellence in Nigeria, Pugeo Shelters Ltd. has rewarded an outstanding staff of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Mr Oguntuase A. K.
Presenting the award to the outstanding officer, during a capacity development workshop at the NSCDC Academy in Sauka, Abuja, to sensitize the officers in charge of housing drawn from the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) sector command, the managing director of Pugeo, Mr Godwin Iregbeyen, said the plot aims to promote professionalism and excellence among public officers.
Receiving the plot of land on behalf of Oguntuase, the FCT sector commandant said the award is a pointer that the public is in full support of what the organisation stands for and what it is doing, saying such recognition is very encouraging, adding that it is encouraging for a company like Pugeo to contribute to the social need of the staff of the NSCDC, even as he urged Nigerians to cooperate more with security agencies to promote security in the nation.
Earlier, the managing director said civil defence has come up with an uncommon concept capable of helping to deal with housing needs of its members and the entire public in general.

In his remarks, the programme facilitator and the president of Housing Developers Cooperative Limited, Mr Olabode Afolayan, said the programme was designed to align the means of the personnel with the product that will meet their needs.
