Guess what? Oga Martins is back again!
Season 1 was an eye-opener, season 2 must have held you guys spell bound, and in season 3 we saw the rebirth of Oga Martins, our protagonist. Now a new season has come! What is in the offing for our Oga Martins’ faithfuls? Wait on it.
To refresh your minds on Oga Martins & his kettle of Fishes, here are titbits from the story thus far:
Martins must like the kind of life he’s living at the moment having rose from a mere marketer to one of the top managers in his real estate company. But is that all there is to life? Would we say he has attained success? His half a decade old marriage to his college sweetheart is yet to produce an offspring, not after the demise of their infant son, Olaoluwa at the onset of marriage under questionable circumstances.
However, the good news is that Aisha is expectant; she’s a couple of months gone. Yet, all still doesn’t seem well with the couple, not with the constant bickering over Martins’ relationship with the young damsel, Runo.
After much dilly-dallying, Martins is now back as the facility manager of Mr. Okafor’s residential rental property and Runo is one of the tenants living on the property. Aisha has asked her husband to do what seems to be the impossible; evict Runo from her apartment for peace to reign. Indeed this looks like the beginning of the end.
But that is even the least of his problems. Trust Martins, he will always find a way around it. What appears more like a dead end is the resurgence of a supposed criminal. The man who was the informant of the infamous bank robbery incident where Ada’s fake client, Engr. Adetukasi was shot at close range and left in a pool of his own blood, is now closer to Martins than he thought.
It seems Martins past has caught up with his new-found life, or how would one explain the sudden re-appearance of his one-time friend and roommate? Of a truth, Deji is back again! But what does his return signal?
All these questions and the more you have rummaging your thoughts will be answered in this new season of Oga Martins & his Kettle of Fishes.
